Scholz and Friends

Our first advertising agency on the agenda was Scholz and Friends. They work with hundred of clients all over the world and have a unique way of addressing every clients specific needs with something they call the orchestra of ideas.

The orchestra consists of starting with a conducting idea and then targeting such things like PR, sales promotions and direct marketing. One of their latest clients was the European Parliament. They conducted a campaign for them to get the people of Europe to vote for parliament. They said that the voter turn out here is really really low. So, in order to grab their audience’s attention they used gorilla marketing by placing large structures on main streets in the different states. They also used TV commercials, radio messages and viral videos. All of which were so creative They kept it simple by addressing major issues that Europeans are facing by giving them a choice from each side of the issue to think about.

We were given an assignment based on this campaign before they showed us their idea. We had to help the same client and come up with a campaign in 25 minutes. It was a tuff feet but we did it! My groups conducting idea was separate but the same. We incorporated water (a symbol of what everyone needs) to unify our project. Great job team!
